How can international students benefit from your services?
ISEFA B.V. offers international students a lawful, safe, and supportive pathway to part-time employment in the Netherlands. By acting as the legal employer, we eliminate the common barriers students face—like navigating work permits, securing trusted contracts, or finding reliable employers.
Key benefits include:
✅ Legal Work Authorization – We apply for the TWV (work permit) on your behalf, so you can work with full confidence under Dutch law.
✅ Guaranteed Legal Employment – You’re officially employed by ISEFA B.V., ensuring transparent contracts, fair wages, and social insurance coverage.
✅ Employer Matching – We connect you with verified Dutch businesses offering flexible part-time roles that match your skills and availability.
✅ Ongoing Support – From onboarding to payroll, we provide clear communication and help you understand your rights and responsibilities at every step.
Unlike informal or undocumented jobs, our model protects your legal status, your academic focus, and your long-term career prospects.
Do you help with obtaining work permits for students?
Yes. ISEFA B.V. acts as the official Employer of Record for international students, which means we apply for and manage the Dutch work permit (Tewerkstellingsvergunning or TWV) on their behalf. Students do not need to apply for the TWV themselves—we handle the entire process, including documentation, submission, and compliance, as part of our legal employment arrangement.
This ensures that students:
Are lawfully employed under Dutch labor regulations
Work within the permitted hours and under legal terms
Receive transparent contracts and payroll processing
Are your services available to all international students in the Netherlands?
ISEFA B.V.’s services are primarily available to non-EU/EEA international students who are legally enrolled in accredited Dutch educational institutions and meet the eligibility criteria for part-time employment under Dutch labor law.
We currently focus on:
Students who hold a valid Dutch residence permit for study purposes
Those eligible to work a maximum of 16 hours per week during the academic year, or full-time during summer months (June–August)
Students who are not already contracted through another employer
While we aim to serve as many students as possible, all placements are subject to:
Legal work permit (TWV) approval
Employer demand and job availability
Compliance with IND and UWV regulations
If you’re unsure whether you qualify, our team will gladly review your documents and provide guidance before initiating the process.
What types of jobs are available through your agency?
ISEFA B.V. connects international students with part-time job opportunities that are legally authorized, flexible, and suited to their availability and skill levels. We work primarily with Dutch businesses in sectors experiencing labor shortages or high demand for support staff.
Examples of job types include:
🧾 Administrative Assistants – Data entry, document handling, and support roles in offices
🛒 Retail & Customer Service – Sales support in shops, supermarkets, and service counters
🍽️ Hospitality & Food Service – Roles in cafés, restaurants, and hotels (e.g., kitchen help, servers)
📦 Logistics & Warehouse Support – Sorting, inventory, and light packaging tasks
🧹 Facilities & Cleaning Support – Light janitorial roles in commercial buildings or institutions
🧑🎓 Education Support Roles – Campus assistants or peer helpers (when available)
All roles:
Are contracted through ISEFA B.V., ensuring lawful employment
Fall within the permitted 16-hour weekly work limit during the academic year
Can be full-time during the summer months (June to August)
Are matched based on language skills, availability, and employer needs
We continuously expand our network of employer partners to offer new roles across the Netherlands—especially in inclusive, diverse, and student-friendly workplaces.
What makes ISEFA B.V. different from regular job agencies?
ISEFA B.V. is not a typical job agency. We operate as an Employer of Record (EoR), meaning we become the official legal employer for international students. This allows us to:
Apply for and manage the TWV work permit directly
Legally employ students under Dutch labor law
Provide employers with compliant staffing solutions with no legal risk
Offer students fair, transparent jobs without breaking immigration or labor rules
Do I need to speak Dutch to get a job through ISEFA B.V.?
No. While speaking Dutch can increase your job options, many of our partner employers offer roles that require only English or minimal Dutch. We aim to match students to jobs based on:
Language ability
Skillset and previous experience
Work availability and schedule
Can I work more than 16 hours per week?
Only during the summer break (June to August).
During academic year: 16 hours/week (max)
During summer holidays: Full-time allowed
We strictly follow this rule in your TWV application to protect your legal status.
What happens if I want to stop working or quit the job?
You are free to stop, but we require:
Written notice (as per your contract)
Respect for agreed-upon offboarding procedures
We will notify the employer and close your TWV formally
We support your academic focus, and there are no penalties if you exit legally.
Will working affect my student visa or studies?
No, as long as you:
Stay within the allowed 16 hours/week limit
Maintain valid enrollment in a Dutch educational institution
Inform us of any change in your visa or school status
We work in alignment with IND and UWV rules to ensure your status remains secure.
